Viewing comments
1
Open comments
Navigate to the Comments page from the workspace sidebar or the More menu on mobile.
2
Select an account
Choose a connected Facebook or Instagram account. If you only have one account, it is selected automatically. Only accounts on these two platforms appear in the list.
3
Browse posts
A list of your recent posts loads on the left. Select a post to see its comment thread. The first post with comments is selected by default.
4
Read the thread
The comment thread shows all top-level comments and their replies. Each comment displays the author, timestamp, message text, and like count.
Replying to comments
Select a comment and type your reply in the input field. Press Cmd/Ctrl + Enter to send. Your reply is sent to the platform immediately and appears in the thread. Replies are sent as your connected page or business account, not your personal profile.Threaded replies
Threads with 3 or fewer replies expand automatically. Threads with more replies are collapsed behind a View replies toggle. Click it to expand the full thread, or click Hide replies to collapse it again. When you reply, a “Replying to @Author” indicator appears above the input field so you can see who you are responding to.Reply status
After sending, the reply shows one of these states:- Sending — a spinner appears while the reply is being delivered
- Sent — a green checkmark with “Reply sent” appears for a few seconds
- Failed — a red error message with a Retry button appears inline
AI reply assist
The comment thread includes an AI assist button next to the send button. It provides contextual suggestions based on the comment, post caption, platform, and your brand profile.Available modes
When your draft is empty, you see a single Generate reply button. Once you have text in the reply field, the button changes to an AI Assist dropdown with the enhancement options.
The AI uses your brand profile to match your brand’s voice and tone when generating replies. If you have configured a brand profile, the generated replies reflect your brand personality.
How AI reply assist works in practice
The AI considers four pieces of context when generating or enhancing a reply: the comment text, your post caption, the platform (Facebook or Instagram), and your brand profile settings. This means the same comment receives a different reply depending on whether your brand voice is set to Professional or Friendly. Example scenarios:Daily engagement workflow
Use this routine to stay on top of comments without spending all day in the app.1
Check for new comments
Open the comments page and note the Last synced time. Pull to refresh on mobile or click the refresh button to get the latest data.
2
Prioritize unanswered questions
Scan each post’s thread for comments that ask questions or report issues. These need a reply first — unanswered questions can hurt engagement and trust.
3
Reply with AI assist
For straightforward comments, use Generate reply to draft a response, review it, and send with Cmd/Ctrl + Enter. For sensitive topics, write your own reply and use Professional or More friendly to polish the tone.
4
Moderate if needed
Hide spam or inappropriate comments. Delete only when necessary — hidden comments can be restored, but deleted comments cannot.
5
Review comment trends
Check the analytics dashboard to see whether your comment count is trending up or down. A drop may indicate lower engagement or that you are posting at suboptimal times.
Moderating comments
You can take the following actions on individual comments:
All moderation actions use optimistic updates, meaning the change appears in your interface immediately while the request is sent to the platform in the background. If the platform request fails, the change is rolled back automatically.
Available moderation actions depend on the platform and your account permissions. You need page admin permissions to hide or delete comments.
Bulk moderation
Bulk moderation (hiding or deleting multiple comments at once) is not available. Each comment must be moderated individually. If you are dealing with a spam wave, consider temporarily hiding comments on the platform directly, then reviewing and restoring legitimate comments from Socializioz.Comment sorting and filtering
Comments within a thread are displayed in chronological order (oldest first). You cannot sort comments by newest, most liked, or filter by keyword within a thread. To find comments on a specific post, use the post search bar.Searching posts
Use the search bar at the top of the post list to filter posts by caption text. This helps you find comments on a specific piece of content quickly.Deep linking
You can link directly to a specific comment using URL query parameters:Last synced time
The toolbar displays when comments were last synced. You can pull down to refresh on mobile or use the refresh button to fetch the latest comments.Monitoring for new comments
Socializioz does not currently send push or in-app notifications when new comments arrive on your posts. To stay on top of engagement, check the comments page regularly or use the Last synced timestamp to see when data was last refreshed. You can also monitor comment activity through:- Published posts — each post card shows a comment count, so a rising number indicates new engagement
- Analytics — track overall comment trends in the analytics dashboard
- Platform notifications — enable notifications directly in each platform’s app (Instagram, Facebook) for real-time alerts about new comments
