Included Creative Credits
Important rollover rules:
- Starter and Pro plan credits renew monthly even when the subscription is billed yearly. Their usage window is anchored to the subscription, not necessarily the first day of the calendar month.
- Unused recurring plan credits do not roll over into the next monthly window.
- Purchased credits never expire under the current product policy.
- Available plan credits are spent before purchased credits.
- Switching plans, buying a pack, or receiving a new allowance does not create separate balances per workspace.
One wallet shared by the billing owner
Creative Credits belong to the billing owner, not to every workspace or teammate. Eligible workspaces belonging to the same billing owner draw from the same wallet. On Billing → Credits, you can see:- Available credits — the spendable balance.
- Plan credits — the remaining included allowance for the current period.
- Purchased credits — the extra purchased balance, which does not expire.
- On hold — credits temporarily reserved for running or unresolved jobs, when applicable.
- Purchase history — confirmed, pending, cancelled, failed or review-required payments.
Current top-up packs
To purchase, open Billing → Credits on the Socializioz website, choose your pack, review the PayPal checkout and complete payment. Installed mobile apps can direct users to the website because in-app credit-pack purchase may not be available.
Do not repeat checkout immediately if payment is still pending or being reconciled. Review purchase history; contact Support if a verified payment is missing.
How a generation is charged
- Configure your image or video. Advanced Studio uses the chosen model, references, duration, resolution and other supported settings.
- Get a quote. Where Advanced Studio requests confirmation, approve the current quoted price before generation. A different request can require a new quote.
- Reserve. The wallet holds enough available Creative Credits before the provider request.
- Generate. The job tracks the provider result and the saved output.
- Settle. Once the outcome is known, the wallet charges the applicable actual usage (or the accepted fallback) and releases any unused reserved credits.
- Recover if needed. Known failed jobs return eligible holds. Uncertain outcomes and interrupted settlements can require status checks and recovery before the balance is final. The background reconciliation process can revisit completed/failed jobs and unattended videos; an unresolved provider outcome is not automatically refunded merely because time passed.
Why the approved maximum can exceed the final charge
The charging policy for covered AI generation is: Customer charge = underlying provider credits × 2, subject to the accepted generation and settlement rules. For usage-priced Studio jobs, the maximum displayed/reserved can include up to 10% extra headroom over the underlying estimated customer cost. That is a temporary spending ceiling, not an extra 10% automatically charged. Only the eligible final amount is retained; unused hold is released. For the standard Core generation path, the current source uses an approximate baseline of 1 underlying credit per generated image and 5 underlying credits per requested video second, before the customer 2× policy. These are Core-path pricing assumptions, not universal prices for Advanced Studio models. The current quote shown for the specific run is more important than a static example. What happens if something fails?
Buying credits does not upgrade your subscription, unlock Canvas on Free, increase social publishing limits, or pay for advertising spend.
