Improvement
Socializioz no longer uses Meta Pixel or any advertising trackers. The cookie consent banner now covers only two categories: Essential cookies (required for authentication and session management) and Analytics cookies (optional, used to understand product usage). If you previously granted marketing or advertising cookie consent, that category has been removed entirely — no action is needed on your part.Your cookie preferences continue to work the same way. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones, or customize your analytics preference from the consent banner or cookie preferences in settings. See privacy and data management for full details.

Improvement

Meta OAuth now uses same-tab navigation on all mobile browsers

When you connect a Facebook or Instagram account from a mobile device, the authorization flow now opens in the same browser tab instead of a popup — regardless of whether you are using Safari, Chrome, a WebView, or the installed PWA. This eliminates popup-blocking issues that could interrupt the connection flow on some devices and browsers. After you approve permissions, you are redirected back to the Connections page automatically.

Fix

Graceful handling of storage errors during OAuth

If your browser’s local storage is unavailable — for example, because storage is full, disabled, or blocked by privacy settings — the OAuth connection flow now handles the error gracefully instead of failing silently. You will see a clear message if storage cannot be accessed, and the app continues to function without crashing. If you encounter this, clear your browser data for Socializioz or check your browser privacy settings.

Fix

More reliable Meta token exchange on mobile

Fixed an issue where connecting a Facebook or Instagram account on a mobile device could fail during the token exchange step. The OAuth flow now correctly handles mobile callback URLs, so connections complete reliably across all mobile browsers and contexts. If you previously saw a token_exchange_failed error when connecting a Meta account on mobile, this fix resolves it.
