Scheduling and calendar is the planning center for SocializioZ. It gives you a time-based view of upcoming and published content so you can keep campaigns consistent, spot gaps, and fix issues before they affect publishing.

## When to use it

Use this page when you need to:

* Plan weekly or monthly posting cadence.
* Schedule new posts at specific times.
* Move existing posts to new dates/times.
* Filter by status, account, or campaign.
* Review failed, pending, draft, and published items in one timeline.

If you are writing content from scratch, open the [Post composer](/features/composer) first.

## Main actions

### 1) Choose the right calendar view

Use month, week, day, or agenda depending on planning depth:

* **Month**: high-level campaign spacing.
* **Week/Day**: precise timing decisions.
* **Agenda**: chronological review of what is coming next.

Pick the view that matches your planning task, then switch as needed.

### 2) Create scheduled posts quickly

Use the add button on a date or time slot to open the composer with time pre-filled. This is the fastest way to fill a content gap without manually setting schedule fields later.

### 3) Reschedule existing posts

Move posts by dragging them to a different slot or by opening post details and changing schedule time. Use this when priorities shift or you need to avoid overlap with major events.

### 4) Filter the calendar

Narrow the timeline to what matters:

* Status (scheduled, draft, failed, pending, published)
* Connected account
* Campaign

Combining filters helps teams focus on a single stream of work (for example, one brand account in one campaign window).

### 5) Open post details and act

From each post detail view, you can typically:

* Continue editing draft content.
* Publish immediately.
* Change schedule.
* Cancel schedule back to draft.
* Retry failed publishing.

Available actions vary by current status.

## Important notes

* Only eligible statuses can be moved or rescheduled.
* Past-time scheduling is blocked; choose a future time.
* Publishing success still depends on external platform availability and account permissions.
* Calendar planning is strongest when paired with campaign tagging and consistent account naming.
* If your team uses approvals, pending items may require review before final publishing.

## Troubleshooting

### I cannot drag a post

Common causes:

* Post status is not movable (for example, already published).
* Current filter/view does not show valid drop targets clearly.

Fix: open post details and use change schedule directly.

### A scheduled post did not publish

Common causes:

* Platform API interruption.
* Account token/permission issue.
* Content validation rejection.

Fix: open the failed post, review the error, retry, or reschedule. See [Troubleshooting](/features/troubleshooting#publishing-failures).

### My calendar looks empty

Common causes:

* Filters are too narrow.
* Wrong date range or view.
* Wrong workspace/account context.

Fix: clear filters, switch views, and confirm workspace/account selection.
