# Approvals

> Review, approve, reject, revise, and resubmit scheduled posts before they go live, with clear review steps for team and AI-assisted publishing workflows.

Approvals add a controlled review step before content is scheduled or published. They are useful for client work, high-visibility campaigns, team handoffs, and AI-assisted content that needs a human check.

<Note>
  Approval workflows are available on **Pro** and **Enterprise** plans.
</Note>

## How approvals work

A post submitted for approval enters a pending-review state. It does not publish until an authorized reviewer approves it and the post passes the required publishing checks.

The exact actions available depend on the user's workspace role and the current post state. Socializioz still enforces account ownership, connected-account health, media rules, schedule validity, and platform requirements.

## Submit a post for approval

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create the post">
    Open the [Composer](/features/composer), choose the destination account, add the caption and media, and complete any platform-specific settings.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Send for review">
    Choose the approval action instead of publishing or scheduling directly.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the pending item">
    Open the approvals area in [Publishing Hub](/features/publishing-hub) and inspect the content, account, media, and schedule.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Review actions

Depending on the post state and reviewer permissions, the review workflow can allow you to:

* Approve the post.
* Reject it with reviewer notes.
* Adjust required details before approval.
* Reschedule it.
* Publish it when immediate publishing is available and valid.

A post cannot move to a publishable state if required data is missing or invalid.

## Rejected posts

Rejected posts are not automatically deleted. Review the feedback, edit the content in the Composer, and submit it again when it is ready.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the rejected post">
    Find it from the relevant publishing or scheduling view.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the notes">
    Check the reason for rejection and identify the required changes.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Edit and resubmit">
    Update the post, then send it for approval again.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Approval notifications

Where enabled, Socializioz can notify relevant users when a post needs review or when an approval decision changes its state. Notification availability and delivery depend on the current notification settings.

## Review checklist

Before approving a post, confirm:

* The destination account is correct and connected.
* The caption is accurate and on-brand.
* Required media is attached and meets platform rules.
* Platform-specific settings are complete.
* The schedule time is valid and includes the correct timezone.
* Any legal, pricing, offer, or factual claims have been checked.
