<Update label="2026-03-27" tags={["New features", "Improvements"]}>
  ## Guided connection setup for Facebook and Instagram

  When you connect a Facebook or Instagram account, a setup guide now appears before the OAuth flow starts. It walks you through platform-specific requirements — like switching to a Business or Creator account — with step-by-step instructions and direct links. On mobile, Instagram setup includes a deep link to open the app directly. On desktop, a QR code lets you continue the process on your phone. See [connecting accounts](/getting-started/connecting-accounts) for details.

  ## Compose directly from a connected account

  Each connected account card on the [connections](/getting-started/connecting-accounts) page now has a quick-compose button. Tap it to open the [composer](/features/composer) with that account pre-selected, so you can start drafting a post without any extra steps.

  ## Fix connection errors with AI support

  When a connection attempt fails, the error message now includes a **Fix with AI Support** button. It takes you straight to the [support](/features/support) page with the platform name and error code pre-filled, so the AI assistant can help you resolve the issue faster.

  ## Notification sounds

  New [notifications](/features/notifications) now play a subtle chime so you don't miss updates when the app is in the background. The sound is generated natively in the browser — no extra downloads required.

  ## Cookie consent preferences

  A cookie consent banner now appears for new visitors on the landing page. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones, or customize your preferences for analytics cookies. Your choice is saved locally and can be updated at any time from [privacy settings](/account/privacy-and-data#cookie-preferences).

  ## Smoother Android and PWA back navigation

  On Android devices and in the PWA, the hardware back button now works more reliably. Pressing back at a tab's root screen no longer accidentally exits the app. Navigation between screens uses smooth directional transitions that match the platform's native behavior. See [mobile experience](/features/mobile-experience) for more on mobile navigation.
